Thank you Foster City!
With gratitude and appreciation, I would like to thank my supporters and residents who voted for me in my campaign for a seat on the Foster City Council. What an exciting and incredibly close race with over 70% of Foster City registered voters participating.
Although I will not have a seat on the Council dais, the challenging issues that I championed remain: the completion of the Levee on time and on budget, traffic congestion, and commercial and housing development issues among others. As a concerned citizen, I ask you to continue to be involved as your voice needs to be heard.
As I return to my position as host of “Podcast by the Bay,” I will discuss these and other issues with engaged citizens, elected officials, local businesses and organizations within our community and nearby communities. The discussions should not be about the ideologies of individuals or small interest groups but rather about solutions that address problems and help Foster City remain the community we love.
With this in mind, I want to share with you one of my favorite quotes by Robert Kennedy: “Hand in hand with freedom of speech goes the power to be heard, to share in the decisions of government which shape men’s lives.”
Stay involved and thank you.
